Does anyone know where I can find an accessible metric to imperial converter? It can either be web-based or downloadable. I keep running into metric measurements, and although I do need and want to learn the metric system, sometimes, I just need a quick calculation. I've found a few online but they were either very clunky or not that accessible. Thanks.

Why don't you write that as your first program? It's rather simple to do. You could also join modern civilization and just learn to deal with the metric measurements.

That's a very very good idea! I will definitely keep it in mind as I learn. I fully intend on learning the metric system. I'll need it in Greece, and in any case, it's used alot in cooking etc. I'll probably take the course from Hadley.
